August Art Walk 2020

Town Square Waterville Valley, NH
The Rey Cultural Center and Town of Waterville Valley invite you to a summer art walk in the beautiful Town Square surrounded by mountains and flowing brooks. The unique shopping area of Waterville Valley offers two levels of shop windows for ease of viewing. Window galleries provide open air viewing and space to respect *social distancing. Call for Art goes out to all local (NH) artists interested in exhibiting. The absence of a theme allows artists to submit a work of their choice. All mediums welcome. There will be outdoor space for sculpture installation, and plein air painting during the opening Saturday, August 1, 12-3pm. The Valley is hosting the annual Ugotta Regatta 9:30am-12pm on Corcoran Pond that day. Musicians will provide entertainment and restaurants provide refreshment and outdoor dining. A well-stocked bookstore-toyshop, cafe and gift shop offer browsing and refreshment.
Entry fee is $15 and artist’s commission on sales is 80%.

Each entry (limited to two per artist) must be accompanied by an entry form and a label with the title, artist’s name, medium, and price on the back of the piece.

Pickup Dates: September 3-4, 2020
Drop off information: Work may be delivered to Town Square, 33 Village Road, Waterville Valley, NH Thursday July 16 and Friday July 17, 2020 from 1-3pm. For special arrangements contact Leah Elliot leah@thereycenter.org. Work must be ready to hang. The back of each piece entered must be labeled with Artist’s Name, Title, Medium, Size and Price. Remit the $15 entry fee by check made out to The Rey Cultural Center with ArtWalk2020 in the subject line, or pay online. Limit of two pieces per artist. Pieces no larger than 36”x48”
*The Town of Waterville Valley requires face masks in Town Square and Town Square businesses. Help keep everyone safe.
