Opening Comments: Lynne called the meeting to order @ 10:20. She thanked all for their attendance. She stated that attempts had been made to have the meeting in March and April and finally it was decided to have this Annual Meeting in May via Zoom. Lynne also stated that this was a time to reflect thus far over 2019-20. The Rey Center had to regroup and strategize. We proved that we can do things remotely. Instead of shutting down, The Rey Cultural Center continued some programs via Zoom. They are Story time, The Literary Group, Children’s Book Clubs. Lynne also stated that we have proceeded with the Garden Programs. We are sorry that the Music Festival was cancelled. The Rey Center will continue with providing cultural programs to Waterville Valley in keeping with our mission.

The School Mobile Learning Center serviced the following towns

The Income was lower than in previous years due to change of fundraising revenue.
Staff & Payroll – Did not hire another part-time person and did not hire a landscaper for the gardens. Landscaping is done in house. The Rey Center is looking at more fee programs, but can’t do it in 2020.
Annual Financials:
For the year our total expenses have a deficiency.
Projections for 2020 are lower from $119,000 to $98,000.
Taxes have been filed and the retirement plan has been closed out.
Public Comment: Cheryl Moak noted that the gardens have expanded. There is more interest in gardening which is great. Cheryl also feels that The Rey Cultural Center should have more information about the center in the Wig Wag. Leah informed Cheryl that she has sent information about the Rey Center to the WigWag, but it is challenging to get it printed. Cheryl suggested that we keep trying and that the wording should be informative. Meeting was Adjourned at 10:45am
