“A Change of Scenery”
Featuring works by painter Michelle Johnsen and photographer Ian Raymond. The exhibit features work by two New Hampshire artists: Michelle Johnsen, a painter, and Ian Raymond, a photographer. “A Change of Scenery” refers to the way the look and feel of a landscape changes in different artists’ hands. Michele, using “strong color and bold brush strokes,” depicts a vivid New Hampshire landscape, full of movement, while Ian, in sepia-toned black and white photographs, captures the serenity and timelessness of the same. Likewise, New Hampshire scenery itself changes from farms to forests and lakes to mountains.
